huddl invites you to join us for a free workshop covering the key principles of good governance for non-profit organisations. Led by experienced facilitator Wayne Hudson, this workshop will look at governance best practice and is designed to help you understand your role and responsibilities as a board member.
In this workshop we will discuss:

- Tips for running productive meetings
- Key policies that every organisation should have in place
This workshop is ideal for individuals who are new to governance, looking to step into a governance role or anyone interested in refreshing their skills. This course would also benefit those in management roles within a non-profit organisation who want to work with their boards more effectively.

About Wayne Hudson
With over 35 years of experience as a lawyer, Wayne is now a legal consultant through WHIPIT Limited, a company that assists technology start-up companies in preparing for growth, investment and sale. Although he no longer holds a practising certificate, Wayne still provides general commercial, corporate and contractual advice to many technology companies.
Wayne is also a mentor, director, and advisory board member of several startup companies and on a volunteer basis, also serves on a number of committees and trust boards in the Queenstown Lakes District and provides governance advice to local not-for-profit organisations
