About Us
huddl works to strengthen and support community groups, charitable organisations, and networks in Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes. We provide tools and resources to upskill community groups as well as providing access to training, mentor programmes and help connect you with the right people to talk to.
huddl is governed by members from Alexandra Community House, Central Lakes Trust, Central Otago District Council, Cromwell and Districts Community Trust, Queenstown Lakes District Council, Sport Central, Volunteer South, and the Whakatipu Hub.
The steering committee was formed after identifying common challenges among community groups. So, we brought together a group of people from across the community sector to see how we can best support the nonprofit sector and make life easier for them. We looked at similar initiatives around the country and have developed a tailored model for our region, which has been discussed and refined with input from community groups and organisations locally.
Our goal is to give community groups the right tools they need to be successful and achieve more. Get in touch today to see how we can help you.
