Reporting

All registered charities must complete annual reporting to Charities Services. This includes filling out an annual return and attaching financial statements. Charities Services has provided some annual reporting resources including a guide to completing your annual return, reporting templates and new reporting standard templates (for periods beginning on or after 1 April 2024) that you can view here. 

If you are an Incorporated Society you can see the new financial reporting standard here.  

For small charities and incorporated societies. The XRB has created a short 'How-to' animation which explains how to use the reporting template that you can view here. 

Reporting for charities and incorporated societies is a legal obligation, but is also a great way to showcase the valuable work you have delivered into our communities.
